It's good!

I think if you could find a vocalist to work with you on this track it would make magic!

Like myself I feel you could spend a bit more time on mastering, some aspects just sounded a bit off to me, like too much in full stereo or something like that.

SandervH responds:

Thanks for the review! :) I think I'll have to work on my mastering a bit, because I'm a total noob at that.

Mmmm

Close my eyes and its 1997 again. This has that vintage trance vibe! Love it :D

D-Chain responds:

wonderfull! :)

Pop Music =)

Firstly, there is no such thing as too much caffeine *sips coffee*

Secondly, I can hear this as a pop song. I immediately thought of Timbaland - Apologize when I heard the beat.

Will be interested to see where you take it at 1:50! Gave you a 7 so theres room to move when its finished!

Also, Thanks for the review! =)

PS. I made the *Evil French Laugh* as I read it.

AshleyAlyse responds:

Y-you made... the evil laugh? I am proud of you! >:D lol! No problem! Thank you for YOUR review! I'm very grateful! ;) Yeah, this song was actually kiiind of inspired by Katy Perry's pop song E.T.

Almost there =)

Ok constructive criticism incoming :O

Drum N Bass is exactly that, sounds easy but you'd know its actually quite detailed in its production.

I'd like to hear a bit more variation, whether you add more detail to the drums ie use a number of different fills or rhythms also you could increase the complexity of the bass line so that it almost doubles as a lead melody. If you do that you will need to master the organ like synth to sit behind it so its not so prominent.

It's got great potential, just need a tad more time on it, but that's just my opinion!

Hope I helped =)

SandervH responds:

Thanks for the review, I'll definitely keep your tips in mind for my future tracks! :)

It's great!

Would love to hear this with a splash of metal ,|..|

NemesisTheory responds:

and you will! soon <3

Checkin' out whats new for F-777

and I find dubstep :O

I can only handle two dubstep tracks, Chase n Status - Blind Faith & Skrillex - Equinox "CALL 911 NOOWW".

You have actually included a melody in this which gives you points but I would've liked you to double time the drums tempo at some point, but thats just subjective & I guess I find dubstep boring otherwise & need the change to stay interested.

Awesome mastering as usual.

So in summary, ignore this post I know shit all about dubstep lol.

F-777 responds:

Thanks so much for your review! Im new to this genre so ya wasn't
a great track but im glad you did take the time to review and let
me know what you think.

Thanks so much!!

You said...

"I based most of this song on a midi from dms epic chord progressions vol 1 and heavily edited it"

So you can edit midi files. Gratz. That aside, I think it was a poor choice in synths, they actually irritated me... but I guess that's just my useless irrelevant opinion.

Sorry for being harsh but I just can't help but feel little to no effort went into this. Checking your page you seem to release tracks quite rapidly, maybe spend more time on one track and make it great. Quality over quantity.

Daydream-Anatomy responds:

I produce all day everyday, so each track honestly gets about 8-12 hours put into it.

I use midi files sometimes to get over writers block that inevitably comes from writing everyday. The one used for this song is one track about 8 bars long, everything else is me.

I've also rapidly gotten better, I've done this seriously for about a year, I'm not great I know, but I like to think my improvement is note worthy.
Tbh I need to get into college and get a job to make better use of my time.

Thanks for the review, I really like your music, have for a while.

It's great.

I haven't visited the darker side of EDM in awhile, this inspired me to get back into it! THanks!

Now where is my 303 =)

Quarl responds:

You don't own a legit TB-303 but if you did, it would be sitting next to your 909 :p

Hmmm

Compared to what you're capable of... I understand why you never finished this :P

It actually irritated me in some parts!

You must hate reputation expectations :D

xKore responds:

yeah man, i have ALOT of abandoned projects like this.
